I have been sent a Triyit box a fair few times now and I think it’s a great way to find new products and brands that you might not come across otherwise. It’s completely free to sign up to and every three months or so you receive a box with five new products to try. The only thing they ask in return is that you share photos of the products on social media and that you fill in the review of each products once you’ve tried them out. It’s so easy and definitely worth it.
What’s in the Triyit Box?
The box always have a mix of edible snacks and drinks and sometimes it also comes with home products. It all depends on what interest you fill out in the sign-up sheet. I for example ticked that I’m interested in new drinks, fitness, food and home products. I’m still using the liquid detergent I received in the previous box. I remember saying that I don’t like coffee but somehow all the boxes I have received so far have always come with a coffee product.
The box also includes a booklet with information about all the brands and products in the box. It also gives you instructions for competitions to enter to win more products and other goodies.
Let’s take a look at the most recent box I received and the products that were in it.
I’m starting to enjoy sweet popcorn more and more. I wouldn’t order a full size box at the cinema with only sweet popcorn but when mix with salty popcorn, they’re alright. Wierdo Pop make popcorn in two flavours: sweet & salty and swinging salsa. I was excited to try out both flavours but sadly I didn’t think either of them tasted that much. They don’t add any extra salt or sugars which is great but I wouldn’t mind more salt for flavour. A couple more positive ticks for this brand is that they’re vegan and gluten free.
Jack Links Beef Jerky
Jack Links Beef Jerky is a meat snack. They only use 100% lean rump beef which is cut into thin strips and seasoned. Once seasoned with the original family recipe or with sweet & hot the strips are dried and smoked slowly in hot air. I really enjoyed this meat snack. It’s high in protein and tastes delicious. If you can’t handle spice, I’d recommend trying the original flavour but if you like spicy sweet chili flavour then sweet & hot is a great treat!
I’m sure most of you will have heard of Amarula. If you’re in to cream liqueur then definitely. This also has a nuance of marula fruit and it worked a right treat mixed with cold milk over ice. It works to drink neat as well or to use in creamy cocktails.
Flyte is an energy drink with natural caffein, natural flavours and no sugar. I really like the tin design and feel and was intrigued but the green mango flavour. I love mango! It does have a tint of tropical flavours from the passion fruit, grapes, lemon and lime but no mango in site so I don’t know why it has that name. Anyways, one of the better energy drinks I’ve had as it doesn’t give that sugary after taste and coating on your teeth and mouth.
Instant coffee brand where each sachet is one cup of coffee. I can’t say much about this brand in terms of taste as I don’t drink coffee. Last year I got a box with a mix of all their flavours and now hazelnut. My mum tried last year’s selection when she stayed and she enjoyed them so I’ll keep these for her next visit. Apparently they have a new flavour: mint chocolate. I wish it was instant chocolate and not coffee and I’d be all over it.
All the products that Triyit promotes are available in stores, in larger packaging, so if there’s something that you fall in love with you know they’ll be available when you go for/order your regular food shop.
