A couple of weekends ago I was invited to Warehouse’s Urban Garden Party in their Trinity store here in Leeds. I don’t think I’ve ever bought anything from Warehouse before but with a 20% discount I couldn’t say no to one of their summer dresses.
I first spotted the darker version of the ‘Summer Aztec Shift Dress‘ and fell in love with the model of it and the fact that it has side pockets. Neither me, nor my friend thought it would be a good fit in terms of the colours. I kept hold of the dress and asked a member of staff if it came in other colours and she gave me this.
Dress – Warehouse | Leather Jacket – H&M | Tights – H&M | Shoes – TK Maxx
I wore it during a day out in York over the bank holiday and got a chance to take come pictures of me wearing it. I can assure you I have my hands down the pockets a lot, it’s a great way to look a bit more relaxed.
The dress has a lovely neckline which shows off the cleavage tastefully. You can’t tell in the pictures but it’s also got short sleeves which are long enough to cover up the jiggly arm fat, so there’s no need to wear a cardigan inside.
However, outside It’s still a bit chilly so I opted for pairing it with a leather jacket and black tights. Ideally I would wear my favourite black high heels to top it off but since York is known for it’s cobbled streets I went for a pair of black flats instead.
As you can tell I love wearing black and most my clothes are from H&M. With my new dress from Warehouse I’m mixing it up with a new brand as well as adding some colours. What do you think of my new dress, hit or miss?
