Ad | Includes PR products*. We’ve all heard of retail therapy. Back in the day, I would love go shoe shopping or even for bags but that has changed. This year, loungewear, activewear and underwear is what I’ve invested most in. Lockdown or not, I think it’s something that will continue. There’s nothing better than to stay comfy when at home and just like makeup can wake you up, comfy and sexy underwear sets have the same impact. Even if no one else will see them, wearing nice underwear gives a great confidence boost.
Underwear from Lounge Underwear
I don’t think Lounge Underwear has gone unnoticed by anyone this year. They’re absolutely booming at the moment and I can see why. I bought a pair of hot pink thongs from them to find out if it’s a brand I’d too would love. I bought in to their great incentive to raise awareness and money for cancer charities during October. All the money raised from women buying 50,000 pink thongs were donated. To raise body confidence they also encouraged everyone to share a photo on social media, wearing the thongs. I did and on the back of it, I was one of 100 lucky women to win a matching triangular bralette.
Previously, I didn’t think that I could wear bralettes. I told myself I had to big boobs to fit in one and that they wouldn’t be comfortable. How wrong I was! In the last year or so, bralettes are the only underwear tops I wear at home when lounging. I couldn’t go completely braless so these are the next best thing. No I have another one to add to my collection and it’s lovely to have a matching set.
Shapewear from Conturve
On occasion, I have dressed up this year. When we were allowed to go out for socially distanced boozy brunches and for work interviews and client calls. I’m also hoping to dress up for Christmas, my birthday and News Year’s to end the year on a high. I’ve got a couple of dresses I’m thinking of wearing and for them to look their best on my body, this shapewear set from Conturve is amazing. They hold everything in and disguise any otherwise visible pant lines.
They’re designed to drape curves and contours of your body to create a flattering silhouette. The bra and panty are super comfy and they tuck in where needed, without making you feel uncomfortable. I know that shapewear is foremost designed to shape you up but honestly, I have worn this set from Conturve on weekends just to stay comfy as well. That’s how you know it’s a great fit. All sets have a seamless design to prevent chafing and rubbing and all bras, panties and shorts are available in nude and black.
In summary, the best underwear to give a confidence boost is to wear a matching set that you feel comfortable in!
What’s your go to underwear when lounging at home? Do you wear any special underwear to give you that confidence boost?
