Ad | PR samples*. I have always preferred silver jewellery, I think I’ve seen gold jewellery as too luxurious for me. Also as something only older people wear. I just have to face it, I am getting older and honestly, gold jewellery is growing on me. I own a couple of earrings and rings in gold and to add to my timeless gold jewellery collection, I now also own a gold necklace and a watch to match. Don’t get me wrong, I still love a statement jewellery piece. I still wear big and bold earrings but lately, the classic and minimalistic style have gradually sneaked in. They fit better with my everyday lifestyle.
Daisy London Gold Necklace
When Daisy London got in touch, it was their gold jewellery pieces that I was drawn to. Their collections are available in silver as well but the gold pieces stood out more to me. They have loads of timeless gold jewellery to choose from but my eyes fell on this Estée Lalonde Venus Necklace (18Ct) from their gold necklace range. The chain is a great length for layering but also to wear on its own. I love that it has three options of where you’d like to close it so you can adjust the length to what you prefer. The circular gold plate has a striped pattern giving it a different texture. The same shape is available in matching earrings. I’ve added them to my Christmas wishlist as it would be really nice to have the full set.
Daisy London is like you can guess a British jewellery brand, based in London. It’s a brand for women, made by women. Their jewellery pieces are designed to fit into your existing collection, with timeless and essential pieces. Their brand name derived from first starting up and designing a daisy collection. The bohemian state of mind has stayed since.
Nordgreen Timeless Watch
I don’t like mixing silver and gold accessories at the same time. I find it clashes, even if far apart. To complete my gold jewellery looks I’ve also got a new watch with gold details. I already own a Nordgreen watch that I love very much and wear all the time but as it has a white watch face and silver details, it doesn’t match with my gold jewellery. Enters Nordgreen again and I’ve now got a similar watch but with a black dial and gold details. This watch is from their Native range which is a timeless classic. I always go for a black leather strap (this is vegan) as it matches most of my outfits. I find that black looks sleeker and more luxurious as well.
Nordgreen is a Danish brand, based in Copenhagen where they design minimalistic and functional timeless watches. Nordgreen is a typical Danish surname that fits well with this brands characteristics: Nordic identity (Nord) with a commitment to helping the environment (Green).
What type of jewellery do you like? Are you a team silver or gold? Do you prefer timeless and classic styles over big and bold?

*PR samples. I was sent the necklace from Daisy London Jewellery and the watch from Nordgreen Watches in return for this blog post and social media shares. All photos, words and views are my own.
I know what you mean about gold, I remember it being very popular like 20 years ago but now people seem to prefer silver!
I love the watch, I got one too but went with a rose gold one! <3
I guess silver is easier to style but gold is growing on me. I don’t own anything rose gold but it’s nice. The watches are great, aren’t they 🙂
