Dining in Style at The Deer Park in Leeds

The Deer Park in Leeds has had a refurbish. I’ve not been before so I can’t say how it looked previously but who cares when the new interior is this fabulous?! The Deer Park reopened a couple of weeks ago and prior to that, I was invited to check out how they had done up the place, over tasty food and refreshing cocktails* (of course). The Deer Park Interior Already from the outside you can tell that The Deer Park isn’t your regular local pub. Leading up to the entrance of the grand white building you’re met with an outdoor seating and glassed in patio. Both looking very cosy, especially…

Stories Café | A Corner of Scandinavia in Leeds

Earlier this month, I met up with Victoria from Apartment Number 4* for a late breakfast/early brunch. I remembered coming across Stories on social media previously so when deciding where to go, I suggested this Scandinavian inspired café. You can guess why I wanted to go, ha. Despite hearing about ‘hygge’ and ‘lagom’ everywhere nowadays, I only know of IKEA where I can get my dose of Scandi style in Leeds. Luckily now I can also add Stories to my list. Ambassadors’ Dinner at Dine

Last year, I was there part of work and the bloggers we teamed up with got served what looked like an amazing Afternoon Tea. I really wanted to come back myself and indulge in one and I hope I will one day. Instead, coming back to Dine was for their Ambassadors’ Dinner which I got invited to ages ago. The official invite arrived end of last year and it’s the most beautiful invite I’ve ever received. Opening it, I knew this event would be extra special and I was right. I…

Afternoon Tea at Jameson’s Café & Tea Rooms

Do you remember a while ago when I went to Lighthouse Union Store’s speed friending event? You might recall I was also the lucky winner of an afternoon tea treat for two from Jameson’s Café & Tea Room. They had kindly donated it as a prize in the evening’s raffle and my name was drawn out of the bag!!! I was very surprised and thrilled to have won this and during my mum’s visit, I finally got to go. Jameson’s Café & Team Rooms only have two branches: Roundhay in Leeds which we went to and the original café in Sheffield. Because they’re not a massive chain, it feels even nicer…
