    Exploring Manchester Northern Quarter

This is the year when I start doing instead of saying or thinking “I should”. I have been thinking and saying for a long while that I should go back to Manchester for a day out. In January, I just went after deciding a couple of days before! It was a fabulous day! I love exploring on my own but also got a chance to catch up with lovely Gina, who lives there. Manchester is huge but it’s only really the Northern Quarter I’m interested in hanging out in when there. For a days visit, there’s plenty to do in this part of the city. I arrived around 10ish am…

Fumo | Italian Restaurant in Manchester

I love Italian food! It’s so simple, yet so delicious. I could live on pasta if I had to (I almost already do). Still, it’s rare that I actually go out to eat Italian food but at the#FRSMeetUp and #sleepwellshopwell event last weekend we indulged in amazing Italian food. Fumo Restaurant Fumo is part of the San Carlo restaurant group. They have one restaurant in Birmingham and one in Manchester, which we went to. You can tell from the outside that it is, in my eyes, a posh place but I didn’t realise how massive it is before we stepped inside. Our table was reserved at the top floor so we had…

    Saturday Shopping in Manchester

As I mentioned in my previous post, one part of the #sleepwellshopwell event was to do some shopping. Megan from ‘pages by megan’ has written a guide on the best vintage shops in Manchester and I was eager to visit them all. I’m surprised I’ve never been to them during previous visits in Manchester when I’ve walked past but I’ll remember them for next time. This post is all about my Saturday shopping in Manchester. Manchester Vintage Shopping After we had collected our Arndale shopping vouchers and maps of the best vintage shops Maria, Jess and I were ready to head out. We started with the vintage scene as it was…

Sleep Well with Premier Inn | Manchester

If I ever would move cities it would be to Manchester. I love its industrial architecture, especially in the Northern Quarter. Here you find so many more quirky places than what Leeds is currently offering. I also like Manchester’s shopping experience more than in Leeds so I was really excited to be invited to Premier Inn’s #sleepwellshopwell event over the weekend. All together, there were around 20 fashion and lifestyle bloggers invited and although the list of attendees first made me a bit nervous (I’m nowhere near that fashionable!!!) I was really intrigued to finally get to meet some of the girls behind the blogs I read. Premier Inn Manchester As part…

  • Balsamik UK AW 2015 Launch

    Balsamik UK Launch Event

Balsamik is a French fashion brand that I have never heard of before. When I was invited to attend their VIP launch event in Manchester I could only but say yes. Totally worth taking half the day off from work spending time with fellow bloggers and getting to know a new fashion brand. I soon realised I was going to an invent not knowing anyone there so it was a relief chatting to Donna on Twitter prior to the event and meeting up before so we wouldn’t turn up on our own. Check out her Polkadot Pink blog, very colourful 🙂 63 Degrees Balsamik had set up their Autumn/Winter launch…
