Things I’d Like to Achieve in 2019

I’m no different to any other blogger out there, of course I have a blog post listing things I’d like to achieve in 2019. I like to set goals because if I don’t, I get lost and perhaps won’t get around to completing anything. I love writing lists, being able to tick things off once done. There’e something so satisfactory seeing a tick next to big achievements like getting my UK citizenship last year or small tasks like washing the towels. For this year, I don’t want to set too many goals and run the risk of not being able to do all of them. My 2019 goals list is…

    My 35 Highlights of 2018

Where did this year go? We’ve only got a couple of hours left of 2018. As always the end of the year is extra special for me as it was my birthday yesterday. Turning 35 and the anxiety I had turning 30 came back but luckily not as strong. Like last time, as soon as the birthday was over, the anxiety disappeared but I still don’t like the number. Did I Achieve the Goals I Set Myself in 2017?

It’s a new year and what would a blog be without a look back at last year’s goals and how I did. I only had five things I wanted to achieve throughout 2017 and I’m happy to say I did myself proud. To answer the title question, yes I did! Apply for UK Citizenship I spent most of the year working on this application. First I had to apply for a permanent residence, then take a Life in the UK test, followed by an English lever 3 test to finally be able to fill in the application and send it in. I’m still waiting for the verdict, I’m hoping I’ll…

    Things I’m Thankful For

With it being Thanksgiving this week, not that I celebrate, I though it would be nice listing all the things I’m thankful for this year, and probably most years in general. Keeping the intro short and letting the list speak for itself. I am thankful for… 1. Having a job that I enjoy 2. Fab colleagues who without, work would be dull 3. Finally having sent in my UK citizenship application 4. My parents who I don’t think are thrilled over me becoming British still supporting me in my process 5. Friends who are always there even though I sometimes don’t get in touch as often as I should 6.…

Happy Birthday Life Styled by Jennie

I’ve been blogging for many years but it wasn’t till a year ago today that I took the best decision I’ve made in my blogging history; I moved to a UK domain and started to write in English. Doing so, I feel like I have become a much better blogger and I also find it a lot more enjoyable. Blogging in English has opened up so many new doors. Happy Birthday Life Styled by Jennie! Since February last year, I have attended blogger events, collaborated with brands, and most importantly; met lots of lovely fellow bloggers. The blogging community is a giving group to be part of, but only if you…
