Shoot the Bull in Trinity Kitchen

Trinity Kitchen* has yet again changed the street food line-up. I went to check them out and absolutely fell in love with Shoot the Bull from Hull. They’re definitely the star of the show this time around. When I read about them it was the sound of their seafood mac n’ cheese and rice balls that I liked the sound of. However, their menu changes depending on location. In Trinity Kitchen, they’ve focused on beef burgers, chips and the Canadian special – poutine. Shoot the Bull Poutine I’ve never had poutine before but I love trying new foods so gave it a go. Poutine is a Canadian dish consisting of…

Bonkers Bingo Mini Cruise with P&O Ferries

The weekend just gone was so much fun! I got to spend it with some of my fave bloggers friends Charlotte, Tina and Gina. We  went on an overnight ferry trip to Amsterdam, and experienced the most bonkers bingo playing both there and back. It’s safe to say that Bonkers Bingo live up to their name! I’ve never been on an overnight ferry trip before, only short trips between Sweden and Denmark and Denmark and Germany. Ooh and I slept on deck on a ferry trip between the New Zealand islands years and years ago. Safe to say none of my previous experiences prepared me for what P&O Ferries and…

    #HBMarchMeet | Blog Event

At the weekend, I took the train to Hull for an afternoon of blogger fun. I haven’t been to Hull in a while but it was nice going back and experiencing a new side to the city. The #HBMarchMeet was held in Al Porto, an Italian restaurant down by the docks. Really nice atmosphere and I loved the different light installations they had, very creative. There were about 20 bloggers in total, most from Hull but a few more from other places in Yorkshire, so I wasn’t alone travelling to attend the lunch. I have only met Alex before but like always in the blogging community, everyone is so lovely and it…

Visit to The Deep in Hull

Hull has got one of the biggest and best aquariums, The Deep, in the UK and this weekend I finally got to visit. The Deep is situated just outside city centre, by Victoria Dock. It’s a perfect location by the Humber seeing that it’s all about sea life. It’s a big building with a major tank in the middle which you can have a look at from all different levels and angles throughout the visit. You start from the top of the building and work yourself down. The first part is all about how life started and that they assume it must have been in water. (This could be disputed due…
