Things I’d Like to Achieve in 2019

I’m no different to any other blogger out there, of course I have a blog post listing things I’d like to achieve in 2019. I like to set goals because if I don’t, I get lost and perhaps won’t get around to completing anything. I love writing lists, being able to tick things off once done. There’e something so satisfactory seeing a tick next to big achievements like getting my UK citizenship last year or small tasks like washing the towels. For this year, I don’t want to set too many goals and run the risk of not being able to do all of them. My 2019 goals list is…

  • Goals for 2018

Personal and Blog Goals for 2018 | Mid Year Review

Where did 2018 disappear to? It’s less than six months till Christmas, how scary is that?! January and February went so slow but I couldn’t tell you where the rest of the months have gone. I feel like it might be too soon to look at the list of goals I set back in January as I fear I’ve not had enough time to complete any. But, we’re half way through the year so let’s take a look and see what I need to focus more on in terms of personal and blog goals. Personal Goals Pay off Citizenship Application I was approved and I’ve got my citizenship! I’ve still…

My Personal and Blog Goals for 2018

We’re already half way into January and compared to other bloggers I follow, I’m very late with posting my goals for this year. It’s still 50 weeks left of the year so I should have plenty of time to reach them. Just because I haven’t posted about my goals until now, I’ve already started to plan for them. I’m really excited about this year’s goals, I think there’s a good mix in the bag. Here they are, my personal and blog goals for 2018. Personal Goals Pay off Citizenship Application Last year’s goal was to complete and send in my UK citizenship application, which I did. I now have to pay…

  • 2017 Goals in Review

Did I Achieve the Goals I Set Myself in 2017?

It’s a new year and what would a blog be without a look back at last year’s goals and how I did. I only had five things I wanted to achieve throughout 2017 and I’m happy to say I did myself proud. To answer the title question, yes I did! Apply for UK Citizenship I spent most of the year working on this application. First I had to apply for a permanent residence, then take a Life in the UK test, followed by an English lever 3 test to finally be able to fill in the application and send it in. I’m still waiting for the verdict, I’m hoping I’ll…

  • Books I've read October to December

Books I’ve read October to December

I’ve had a blogging break over Christmas and New Year’s but now I’m back! The two weeks off did me real good and I had time to get lost in books rather than social media and blog reading. One of my goals in 2017 was to read one book a month, 12 books in total. And I have! The last three were easy reads and I’m very happy about that because I saved them all till the last two weeks of the year. For some reason I can’t remember now, I wasn’t into reading in October and November. The other nine books I read in 2017 I wrote about, here,…
