    Christmas Treats for Festive Meets

It’s less than a week till Christmas! As always, it’s come around quick. I decorated my flat at the beginning of December, in time for the first of advent. I prefer the build up so I want to enjoy the decorations for as long as possible. The biggest part of Christmas is the food and drinks and although I’m not hosting any Christmas parties or gatherings, it’s nice to have some treats and alcoholic drinks available. A Christmas Spin with Gin Normally I would put prosecco and mulled wine at the top of the list for Christmas tipples but this year I’m finding myself drinking gin. Not only because it…

    My Christmas Jumpers Collection

It’s officially December and time to look forward to Christmas. I started early this year but I waited till the 1st December to wear a Christmas jumper. For someone who didn’t get the hype for them when I first moved here (9 years ago) I’ve managed to collect a fair few over the years. Now I love them and I couldn’t imagine the festive season without one. I happily wear them throughout all of December, not just on Christmas Jumper Day. It’s easy to get hold of Christmas jumpers, everyone sell them! Over the years, I’ve not bought a singe one of mine from the same place, they’re all different…

  • Jet2 Christmas Event

    Influencer Christmas Dinner with Jet2

One of the highlights this month was going to Jet2’s Christmas Dinner event. Actually, it was the last day of November but for me it marked the first of many Christmas celebrations. They’d picked a fab day for it as it was  snowing outside. Not that it stayed but still, it gave that extra Christmas feeling. Jet2 had booked out a room at The Tetley in Leeds to host the event for nine Leeds based bloggers. I’ve only been to The Tetley a couple of times but never upstairs so I was surprised to find this gorgeous room with one of the biggest dining tables I have ever seen. The…

Play for Peace with The Body Shop

As Halloween and Bonfire Night are out of the way, we can all focus on Christmas. There’s already been a couple of local Christmas themed blogger events and the most recent I went to is The Body Shop’s yearly festive shenanigans. I love The Body Shop so much, especially around Christmas. Last year they celebrated Leeds being their UK flagship store, and being against animal cruelty. This year’s theme is ‘Play for Peace’ where most products have a playful element to the presentation boxes they’re presented in. For each product bought, a donation goes to the International Alert’s Peace Play Project who helps Syrian refugee children. The Body Shop have already…

  • Christmas Wishlist

Dear Santa, here’s my Christmas Wishlist

Christmas Eve is fast approaching and this is the day when I open my presents (Swedish tradition). Because I’m not celebrating with family this year, leaving it to Christmas Day with friends, I’m still really excited for Christmas. I haven’t bought all the Christmas gifts for everyone I buy for yet but I have had a chance to think of five things that I would love to receive this year. Here’s my Christmas wishlist! Glass Drinks Trolley. I’ve seen these in various interior blog posts and interior magazine features. Currently, all my spirit bottles are in a corner on one of my kitchen worktops. It works but it’s not a pretty…
