It’s always difficult knowing what to wear between seasons. September is a typical month for transitional dressing where the weather changes quickly between hot and cold. In the last week we’ve had a few really nice and crisp days whit sunshine. Over the weekend the weather was exceptionally kind so there was no need for wearing a coat, instead I took the opportunity to style up my new jumper from SAMMYdress. It is perfect for days when it’s too warm to wear a coat but too cold to wear short sleeves.
SAMMYdress is an online fashion brand delivering all over the world. They want to offer high quality clothing for an affordable price and I believe they have succeeded. This jumper only came to £8.46 but it feel like it could be worth a lot more.
They stock a lot of clothes so it was difficult to decide what product to go for but when I saw this jumper my mind was made up. I picked it for several reasons: it is striped, it’s longer in the back, the sleeves are tight and the round neckline is a perfect size.
Striped Jumper Outfit
When the jumper first arrived I had imagined it to be longer. Luckily I’m quite short so it still goes over my bum on the back but for the front it’s an easy fix by wearing a tank top underneath, or why not style it with a dress. I really like the tight sleeves, perfect for colder days to keep out the air coming in and it gives that extra stylish touch to the jumper, especially being all black.
I’m not really a fan of acrylics, I prefer cotton but because of its tight knit I can hardly feel the difference and because it is impossible not to wear with anything underneath it’s not directly on my body or skin. The sleeves are soft and comfy around the arms.

Seeing we’re heading towards colder days I styled the jumper with an all black outfit: tank top, skirt, tights and boots. I am comfortable wearing black and if I fancy any other colour it can only be one item or I feel too out there. Besides the new black will never grow old!
I love these boots, they are perfect making an outfit look a bit more formal. They’re really comfy (I’ve been wearing them every autumn and spring for 5 years now) and with the noisy sound from the heels I feel grown up and important.
What have you been wearing this transitional season?
