This is the first ever Nailbox that I have ever received. I used to subscribe to Birchbox for a while but it came to expensive for only a few products that I actually got around to use. I don’t know why I thought Nailbox would be cheaper, it’s not!, but I like the idea of receiving monthly packages and I know I do like to paint my nails.
Autumn Themed October Nailbox
I didn’t know what to expect but after reading other bloggers’ reviews I knew I wouldn’t be disappointed. Octobers Nailbox has an Autumn theme and I love the colours of nude, burgundy and gold sparkles. A great combination making my nails look gorgeous! The box also contained a pair of nails scissors and drying drops.
Elegant Touch Nail Scissors
These are my first pair of real nail scissors. Shocking – know!!! I complain all the time that my nails are very fragile. Hopefully with proper nail scissors and only cutting when soft, to avoid the nails splitting, I might make a change.
Nails Inc ‘Kensington High Street’
I have never used Nails Inc before so I was happy to try something new. The burgundy colour is lovely, prefect for Autumn, and a great addition to my nail polish collection. I like how the brush is attached so that you are holding the lid on its short sides, it makes the application sturdier. The brush in itself isn’t the best but it gets the job done.
Rimmel London ‘Caramel Cupcake’
I like the name of this colour and it looks really nice as well. It’s the perfect base colour when you want to add sparkling nail polishes. I’ve used Rimmel 60 seconds before and I like them because they do as they promise: dry quick. They also give a nice and easy applied layer of polish on the nails.
Essie ‘Summit of Style’
I love Essie!!! I think it might be my favourite nail polish brand. The have so many lovely colours, always look great and last long. Unfortunately they’re quite pricey so I was happy to see one included in the Nailbox. I’ve got the silver version of this already and now a happy bunny to have it in gold too.
Nicole by OPI Drying Drops
The best top coat I’ve ever used is No7’s. Those of you who regularly follow my blog know this. I’m also intrigued to try these drying drops for double effect. It says on the package that the nails will be air dry after one minute and touchable after five. We shall see about that. Can’t hurt to double up fastening the dry speed though, can it?!
What are your thoughts on Nailbox’s October box? I think I’ll stick around to see what’s up next month as this was amazing!
