HomeSense Leeds Store

I’ve always found interior and home inspiration shops have been lacking in Leeds. Ikea has always been my point of call but over the last year, stores like Oliver Bonas, Zara Home and Anthropology all noticed a gap in the market and opened up. And finally this year a bigger and more price friendly home interior focused store has come to Leeds city centre – HomeSense.

If you haven’t spotted HomseSense yet, it has taken over Clas Ohlson’s old space on Headrow but it wasn’t until this visit that I realised how big the store is. It’s a home decor lovers dream, a fun park for interior lovers. They have two floors filled with flowers, candles, furniture, bathroom decor, frames, dining & kitchen appliances, seasonal products and more.

I was kindly invited to preview the HomeSense store the evening before the big opening day and I was also given £25 voucher to spend in store. It was really difficulty deciding on what to invest in, I could have spent loads more money if I wasn’t on a tight money saving budget. Because of this, I decided to spend it on things I want but not necessarily would normally buy/desperately need. It’s only fair to treat yourself now and again, right? 🙂

After picking up this gorgeous and colourful lamp from the kids section, the rest followed; a couple of stationary boxes and a cute Easter rabbit. I did spot a fair few flamingo and skull items but I had to resist this time around. I’m very pleased with the lamp, it suits perfectly in my fruit crate bookcase so all I need now is a light bulb.

I loved all the chairs on display and one day I’m hoping to own one of these for my bedroom. After all, it would be nice to have somewhere to store clothes rather than on the floor. Clothes that’s not fit to go back in the wardrobe but yet not ready to go in the washing basket. Sadly, it’ll have to wait.

If you don’t pick it up the first time you see it, risk is it’ll be gone next time you pop in. Just like their sister company, TK Maxx, they only stock a couple of each product and keep adding new things on a regular basis.

Have you been to HomeSense yet? What interior decorations are you currently lusting over?
