Simply Be Outfit

It feels like a while since I shared outfit photos with you, but in blog post time, it was only two or so uploads ago. Since then, I’ve been investing in more new clothes to fit my “new” body. I’m in need of more trousers but I’ve ordered jumpers and bought underwear. Yep, I’ve lost two cup sizes and I’m not complaining. They’re still big but less in your face. I’ve also kindly been sent some clothes from Simply Be* to help renew my wardrobe.

I’ve previously only owned underwear from them before and personally knowing them as a bigger size brand, I wasn’t sure their clothes would fit me. Let me tell you, these are THE perfect fit. I’ve wanted faux leather trousers for a long time but all I’ve ever tried have always been unflattering in one way or another. Enter Simply Be. Their size guide helped me decide which size to get (12) and they fit perfectly. They’re so comfortable! Just enough tightness not to fold along the legs and they have the right amount of stretch. I can easily do a squat or lunge should I want to. The high waist and back pockets give them a flattering body fit.

Simply Be OutfitLeopard Jumper

Like many others, I’m hooked on leopard print clothing so when I saw this jumper, I knew I needed it in my life. I love that it’s not your traditional leopard colours but instead grey and black, with neon pink details. Paired with my pink earrings from ages ago (I knew I did well keeping them) I feel very 80’s. Paired with the faux leather jeans I’m simply be(ing) true to my rocker style.

Come spring – please hurry up – I’ll be pairing the jumper with a skirt and loafers. I’ve owned a similar skirt in the past but it didn’t fit me as well as this does. It’s so soft, light and very comfortable around the waist.

Again, the loafers are also very comfortable. They might give me a slight rub on the heel before being properly broken into. The inner sole is soft to give the foot the illusion of walking on a cushion. Simply Be are known for offering a wide range of fits in shoes and boots to cater for everyone’s shape. Although I have “normal” sized feet, I got these in a wide fit, making sure no toes will get squished. What I love the most about them is that they have two different textures; velvet and patent leather. I think these will be my go to for many outfits come warmer weather. Not faux leather trousers perhaps but definitely jeans, skirts and dresses.

Have you ever shopped from Simply Be before? What are you looking forward to wearing when the warmer weather arrives?
