Hopefully I will have a tree next year, not just a book tree but an actual tree that I can fill with all the baubles and Christmas tree decorations I like. I prefer colour themed tree decorations. The problem is just that there are so many, too many, to chose from. Here I’ve picked out some of my favourites which I might buy in the sales later. As you can see, they’re not colour coded but my tree will hopefully look different each year…
Christmas Tree Decorations from Paperchase
Paperchase always have colourful and sparkly Christmas tree decorations and this year these three caught my eyes.
1. The black glitter bauble because I love black and even more so when it sparkles (£15). 2. These cars are so cute with the Christmas trees on the roof. I wish I had a little car like this to go get myself a Christmas tree (Set of 2 £10). 3. Can it be more Christmassy than with reindeers? Without them Santa Clause would be nothing. This are extra cute with white fluff around their necks (Box of 3 £6).
Christmas Tree Decorations form Marks&Spencer
I’m sticking to the theme of glitter decorations but in more subtle colours. M&S had more Christmas tree decorations to chose from in store than online but it wouldn’t surprise me if they’ve already sold out, especially with Black Friday and Cyber Monday just gone.
1. These drop shaped baubles come in a set of 6, two in each colour. They are also available in silver colours and red colours but I like these the most, love the darkness in them (Set of 6 £15). 2. You can’t have a Christmas tree without a golden bauble, right? This is acid washed which gives it a vintage feel (£3). 3. I thought it could be fun to add to the regular Christmas tree lights and hang these ‘Merry Christmas’ string lights on it as well (£19.50).
Christmas Tree Decorations from John Lewis
John Lewis I most peoples Mekka when it comes to Christmas tree decorations. Sadly we don’t have the store here in Leeds, it’s on its way, being built as we speak, but ordering online has never hurt anyone. It was really difficult to pick three favourites but I did it!
1. Just a simple clear bauble but with some white feathers in it it all of a sudden looks a lot more exclusive and romantic (£3). 2. This caught my eye straight away. I love red, especially this blood red colour and the fact that it at first glance look like the globe is so cool (£3). 3. I thought this was really funny and something different to spice up a normal bauble. This is filled with shreds of paper which says ‘Eat, Drink and be Merry! Perfect recommendation at times like these (£3.50).
Which is your favourite Christmas tree decoration of all time? Have you got more suggestions of stores where I can find nice baubles?
