How are you celebrating Christmas this year? I’m working most of the time, aside from Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Those two days I’m going to treat as an extra weekend and just chill. I’m going to be slouching in my flat, wearing my new Christmas pyjamas. Look at it! It’s fab, isn’t it!? Even though I won’t be doing much, it doesn’t hurt to still look good.
I love hanging around in cosy lounge wear or pyjamas when I’m home alone. It’s the best and you can’t have too many pyjamas to choose from. I’m going to make the most of using this over the Christmas period as come summer, it’s not very topical anymore. Perhaps if I were to celebrate “Christmas in July” but I fear it’ll be too warm for that time of year.
Shinesty have plenty of fun Christmas pajamas (as they call them) to chose from but I couldn’t take my eyes off this:50 Shades of Santa. It’s so colourful and you can’t help but smile when looking at it. It doesn’t just look fab, it has so many fun details which you discover one by one as you take a closer look. It’s also very practical for doing nothing.
The trousers have two big side pockets and the top another three. The top has one chest pocket, a sleeve pocket and a small pocket hidden at the end of the opposite arm sleeve. I think it’s very clever as here you can keep small Christmas sweets, plenty of tissues to wipe tears when watching sad Christmas films in the chest pocket and the TV remote would fit in the upper sleeve pocket. They’ve thought about everything so you don’t have to move much from the sofa.
The material is 95% polyester and 5% spandex. It’s so soft and comfy and with the spandex material it’s full on elastic. This makes it easy to move around in and when sleeping, it means it won’t stick to your body but actually move with it. I wore it to work the other day (yes I’m one of those people) when we celebrated Christmas jumper day and I got lots of nice compliments. Both for the look of it but also for how comfy it looked. Honestly, I’ve never felt comfier at work. More pyjama days please!
If you’re looking for a fun and unusual Christmas pyjamas this year, Shinesty has you covered. Their pajamas are available as separates should you fancy mixing and matching with fun colours and patterns. They also sell Christmas suits, jumpsuits (I want one!) and underwear (want them too). When I have a family I’ll definitely make sure we have matching pyjamas to sit around in over the Christmas period.
How are you celebrating Christmas this year? What’s your go to clothing when chilling at home?
*PR sample. Shinesty kindly sent me this pyjamas as a pre Christmas gift, in return for this blog post. Photos, words and views are as always my own.
