It is December next month. December guys!! This means it’s only 37 sleeps left till Christmas and I’m all here for it. I have already started to get into the festive season. The annual Christmas market is up, I’ve bought a poinsettia which I hope will stay alive another 5 weeks and I’ve been to two Christmas themed events organised through work. I have the company Christmas party and Secret Santa events to look forward to as well and I hope to bake some Christmas treats. Not forgetting to enjoy all the mulled wine!
I could go on and on about the lead up to Christmas but this post is all about what I’ll be wearing when the big day comes. For my last Studio ambassador post* I’ve picked out three Christmas Day outfits – from morning till evening.
Christmas Day Morning
Who wakes up way before Santa, parents or who ever it is bringing you Christmas presents on the day? I do! I also like to stay in bed as long as possible though with breakfast and a good film on Netflix whilst waiting for the celebrations to win. Studio.co.uk have loads of different pyjamas, all in different styles, colours and patterns. I love this mint green tropical pyjamas. I know, not very Christmassy but it matches so well with my personalised dressing gown. I’ve never been one for dressing gowns but this is so soft I spend most my mornings wearing it. It’s extra fun to wear having my name on it. One of the best things with Studio is that they offer to have so many of their products customised and personalised, all without an extra cost.
I don’t know about you but I like to make a little bit of effort on Christmas Day, either staying in or going out. You know me well, black is my go to in an outfit but it doesn’t hurt to spark it up a little bit. I couldn’t resist this Dear Santa Christmas jumper. Not so in your face like others but still fun whilst staying classy. I have my eyes on these trousers to go with it but sizing is tricky, especially with loosing weight *cheeky smile*. The velvet pumps bring the extra bling. I’m normally not one for pointy shoes but look at the studs. How could I say no. The block heel is the perfect height for me to walk around comfortably in. As I expect a cold winter, if I leave the house I’m topping the outfit with an Aviator jacket. It’s fairly similar to my denim jacket with fur, just thicker and more winter like.
Christmas Day Evening
Christmas Day evening is all about having a cosy time. That could be watching Christmas films, playing board games with the family, lying on the sofa reading a book or listening to Christmas music. How ever you choose to spend it, staying comfortable is important and how better can you do that than slip in to fun lounge wear. Look at this Snowball Fight pyjamas, how cute?! White and dark blue polka dot trousers with a matching long sleeved top full of white pom-poms looking like snowballs. I think it’s so much fun and wearable all winter, not just for Christmas. It’s fairly thin but super comfy. If Christmas is extra chilly, snuggling up under a blanket might be necessary but a warming Christmas tipple and sweets also helps.
Studio.co.uk offer first time buyers free shipping if you use this code: 089 at the checkout. I’ll be sure to use it myself when I do all my Christmas shopping. There’s something for everyone.
How are you preparing for Christmas and have you, like me, already picked out what you’ll be wearing on the 25th of December? What are you most looking forward to about Christmas?
