I love Body Shop and their products. I love neatly stocked shelves, before anyone else has had a chance to mess them up. Last week I had the opportunity to do some shopping at Body Shop before opening hours so I took it! Christmas Body Shop Haul deluxe!
It was literally like Christmas entering the shop! Christmas offers, Christmas gift boxes and Christmas themed products. New launches in make-up, facial skin care and of course, the new skin care of the year: Frosted Plum.
It was really nice to be able to walk around the shop and look at everything available, without stress and people in my way. This was a perfect chance to get advice and recommendations from their professional staff as well. So friendly and they do know their stuff (or at least how to convince me to buy them). I stocked up on quite a few things for myself. With 40% discount it was difficult not to. Here’s what I got;
Oils of Life Facial Oil
I have seen and read about this on many beauty blogs lately so I’ve been tempted to get one for myself for a while. After listening to all the good things about it and trying a small drop on my hand I could not resist to buy it.
£28 is a lot for a face oil. I don’t think I’ve ever spent that much on any face product before but I’m sure it’s a good investment. I am currently using Balance Active serum and have seen good results with that so can’t see why this shouldn’t be as good, or even better.
Frosted Plum Body Scrub & Body Butter
What I love the most about Body Shop is their Body Butters. I have several already and used up plenty during my short life so far. Last year I bought Frosted Apple but I can’t say I’m a massive fan so this Christmas I wanted to try Frosted Plum (£14) instead. It smells soo good! Subtle smell, quite soothing in a way. It’s not overpowering in any way so I can’t wait to start using this.
After the success of summer’s Virgin Mojito Scrub, which I’ve been using regularly, I thought Frosted Plum Scrub (£15) would be the perfect edition for winter skin.
InstaBlur Face & Eyes
I was recommended the InstaBlur Universal (£14) time I went to a Body Shop event but I passed on it that time as I had recently bought a Benefit Porefessional. I don’t have much left of my Porefessional and since Body Shop’s InstaBlur is seen as the equivalent, I decided to buy it this time. When I was at it I also picked up the eye primer (£10).
All my intentions during this event was to buy some Christmas gifts for friends and family, and I did in the end. Obviously I won’t reveal what in this post but if you’re looking for Christmas gifts this year, Body Shop has some really good ones and who doesn’t love to pamper themselves with goodies that smell divine?
