• What to do in Amsterdam

    Doing Amsterdam in Six Hours

You know you’re in Amsterdam when the first thing you see are picturesque canal views and randomly walk past inappropriate window displays. I love this city! Mainly for the architecture, such pretty buildin, but also because of all the canals. Cities with lots of water are the best! The whole laid back culture and trendy fashion scene also bring loads of character. As you know from my previous post, I went on a mini cruise to Amsterdam with P&O Ferries and Bonkers Bingo. We only had six hours in total to explore this wonderful city. We managed to fit in a lot to be honest so it was a well…

  • Bonkers Mini Cruise

Bonkers Bingo Mini Cruise with P&O Ferries

The weekend just gone was so much fun! I got to spend it with some of my fave bloggers friends Charlotte, Tina and Gina. We  went on an overnight ferry trip to Amsterdam, and experienced the most bonkers bingo playing both there and back. It’s safe to say that Bonkers Bingo live up to their name! I’ve never been on an overnight ferry trip before, only short trips between Sweden and Denmark and Denmark and Germany. Ooh and I slept on deck on a ferry trip between the New Zealand islands years and years ago. Safe to say none of my previous experiences prepared me for what P&O Ferries and…

  • Jet2 Christmas Event

    Influencer Christmas Dinner with Jet2

One of the highlights this month was going to Jet2’s Christmas Dinner event. Actually, it was the last day of November but for me it marked the first of many Christmas celebrations. They’d picked a fab day for it as it was  snowing outside. Not that it stayed but still, it gave that extra Christmas feeling. Jet2 had booked out a room at The Tetley in Leeds to host the event for nine Leeds based bloggers. I’ve only been to The Tetley a couple of times but never upstairs so I was surprised to find this gorgeous room with one of the biggest dining tables I have ever seen. The…

  • Pumpkin Hunting

    Pumpkin Hunting at Farmer Copleys

It’s nearly Halloween and pumpkins are a must! Sadly, even though I went pumpkin hunting over the weekend, I don’t have one on display. I’ve seen so many people going pumpkin hunting lately and really wanted to go myself. Luckily Michelle and Gina also wanted to go so over the weekend just gone, we headed to Farmer Copleys in Pontefract. The reason we didn’t buy any pumpkins in the end is because our wheelbarrow was stolen. Gina and I got the train to Wakefield Westgate from Leeds where Michelle picked us up in her cute Beetle and drove us to Farmer Copleys. The weather was so hot and nice Sunday…

  • Eat in Dublin

    Where to Eat in Dublin

I don’t think Dublin is known for its food culture so I didn’t have any specific dishes I wanted to try prior to going. I was pleasantly surprised to learn they eat a lot of seafood, which I love. Thinking about it now, it makes perfect sense as it’s a seaside city. Here’s my favourite eats from Dublin. Crabby Jo’s Again, I can’t recommend going to Howth enough if you’re ever in Dublin. If you like the seaside and seafood this is the perfect spot. Along the harbour all the fisherman’s restaurants are lined up. Unfortunately, VERY pricey but what can you expect when it’s fresh fish? As much as…
